Artist Statement
My project, “Around the World Through My Lens,” showcases photographs from my travels to places like Vienna, Rome, Guanajuato, and Mexico City. I focused on capturing objects and moments that represent my identity such as my love for the arts, from paintings and architecture to sculptures, as well as the people who matter to me, like my sister and my best friend. Each image reflects something that inspires me and reminds me of why I enjoy storytelling through photography.
I was able to transform my previous project, “A Day in a Life Self Portrait,” into something that feels more meaningful and personal. Instead of limiting myself to a single day, I wanted to highlight what my trips have looked like over the past year and how they’ve shaped me. This project represents my passion for travel, creativity, and documenting the world in a way that feels true to who I am.
